Basically, Sharpening means that you are going to make the sound or note higher or raising it using the key to its right side.

Now, with black keys, one key has two names. There is the sharp operator and the flat operator. So, for example your key is G and the key below that is called G flat or you can also call it Gb, with A, the key below A is called A flat or Ab, The key below B is B flat or Bb and so on ….This can also be tough, but it is easier than the white keys. learn to familiarized these names first before you can actually learn how to play the piano.
